7 Stanes Mountain Biking - Scotland
7 Stanes is the name given to Scotland’s award winning, seven stanes mountain biking trails in the Galloway Forest Park.
Black Clauchrie is ideally located for both Glen Trool and Kirroughtree, which offer trails for all abilities. We welcome mountain biking enthusiasts and appreciate that you need somewhere to wash down your mountain bike and somewhere undercover for safe storage. At Black Clauchrie we provide this at no extra charge so you can relax and enjoy your stay here.
We have all 7 Stanes maps showing routes, trail grades and visitor centre facilities to help you plan your day. Mountain bike hire and delivery to Black Clauchrie can easily be arranged. Alternatively, pick up your bikes at Glen Trool which is about 20 minute drive away or Kirroughtree, which is about a half hour drive away.
Both of these 7 Stanes routes offer suitable trails for beginners and young families to the adrenaline junkie, experienced mountain bike rider.
